Lovely views and new interior, but poor issue resolution Positive: Location & Transport: Great location, only a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest tram and bus stops. Balcony Views: The smaller balcony offers a nice view of the Acropolis. The main large balcony has plenty of space and is wonderful for having dinner with a view over the city roofs at night. The Apartment: Everything feels fresh and newly renovated. The bathroom and shower are very pleasant to use. The bed is actually a sofa bed, but it turned out to be surprisingly comfortable (a bit low to the floor, but that was clear from the photos). Amenities: The kitchen is well-equipped with new, intact cookware. The washing machine works perfectly. Overall, it was a very pleasant room to stay in. Agency Communication: On the plus side, they replied promptly and were always polite. However, after you report a problem, you might just get a "Thank you for letting us know" with no solution offered—be prepared to live with these issues for your entire stay. Negative: No Welcome Guide: There were no instructions on how things work in the apartment, which caused unnecessary hassle upon arrival. Wi-Fi Issues: We had to look for the network details on the back of the router. It didn't connect at first, and when we asked the host, they initially sent the wrong Wi-Fi credentials. Toggling the router power fixed it, but it wasted our time. The internet speed itself is quite weak—keep this in mind if you plan to work remotely. Broken Kitchen Shutter: The roller shutter leading to the large balcony from the kitchen was broken and wouldn't lift. We had to walk all the way around through the bed area to carry food outside. Water Heater (Boiler): We had to take a cold shower on the first day. It turned out the boiler needed to be switched on in the electrical panel. Without instructions—and with the labels written only in Greek—it's impossible for a guest to figure this out on their own. Clogged Bathroom Sink: The sink was clogged from day one. We reported it, but no solution was provided, so we had to brush our teeth and wash in the kitchen sink during the entire stay. Laundry Clothesline: The laundry rope on the small balcony snapped on our first night, dropping our swimwear. We were afraid to use the remaining rope, so we had to dry clothes on chairs. A standalone drying rack on the large balcony would be a great addition. Dirt on the Balcony: When we checked in, we found a huge sticky stain near the table on the balcony—it was obvious that nobody had cleaned there at all. Balcony Sunblinds: The sunblinds were folded, and without instructions, it was tricky to figure out how to unfold and secure them properly against the wind. Kitchen Items: Only one knife and one cutting board were provided, which was inconvenient for cooking together. As for kitchen towels, there was only one tiny towel with a piece of pasta stuck to it—quite unpleasant.
